I like it. Or SquarEdox, rhymes with paradox
Users shouldn't be reviewing without playing the product. Simple as that. If they don't like a game, don't buy it and don't "review" it. It goes against the principle of user reviews.
I miss Westwood Studios. I really enjoyed the first Lands of Lore game back in the mid 90s. The CD version had Patrick Stewart do the voiceover of the king!
I agree, they're a bad company. Even if they do produce some good games, the politics in the boardroom leave people jobless. Buy buy buy, then lay off, lay off, lay off.
I wonder how many of those user reviews are legit? I bet they're from people who haven't even played it. They just want to give it a low score because of lack of dedicated servers and increased price, not the product itself.
Couldn't they have come up with something more original than Square Enix Europe?
That screenshoot looks a lot like Res. Evil 4
I'm surprised so many people still support the 360. I'm all for competition in the industry, but this is getting ridiculous with the way MS charges so much for so little.
Only thing I'm jaded about is all these MW2 articles.
@ below:
I know, but I think everything has already been said. All the b!tching and moaning, fanboy rants, PC gamer anger, BC2 fanatics saying MW2 will get blown out of the water (hey I want BC2 also but that's not until March).
When does it end? Every major game release gets about 200 stories. If N4G organized huge titles with their own tab (say for a week before and after launch), it would help clear up...
Halo 1 on PS2 wouldn't sold nearly as well. It's mainly an online game and the PS2 online wasn't all that good. Xbox had the unified online gaming environment at the time. Plus I think with the slower hardware in the PS2, Halo might not have looked as good as on the Xbox.
Just my thoughts.
Unfortunately, because EA now owns Bioware, if Bioware chose to make a PS3 exclusive RPG taking full advantage of the system, EA would probably want it to appear on 360 also. It's a double-edged sword and the reason I wish Bioware had stayed independent.
I know, it confused me all afternoon.
Ha, well I guess some jerkoff submitted an incorrect article. Funny thing is it was reported as a duplicate article, but was never reported for incorrect information. I read the story but was thinking EA the whole time because of whoever submitted that false article!

My bad. Thanks for pointing it out, I feel like an ass now.
How about creating more quality games that people want to play? Why cancel a dozen games? Why buy out smaller companies so you (EA) end up having to support more employees?
Why lay off 1,500 people and turn around and donate $1 million to help jobless vets? You're throwing people out while trying to help people in the same situation! See the irony? How about the hypocrisy? That million dollars could've went towards better severance pay. EA wants to look good helping vetera...
So why not compare all FPS games? Oh wait, you already do........ You might as well say because GOW is a 3rd person action game, it's comparable to Ninja Gaiden which I believe came out earlier GOW1. Ninja Gaiden has epic boss battles, multiple combos and spell abilities, different weapons...
What does fighting across the levels of hell attacking demons with a bone scythe have in common with a Kratos using chain blades and fighting mythological beasts?

This game looks amazing! Don't even bother with GOW similarities, this will hold it's own. I like the scenery and hell as a location sounds intriguing.
EA helps veterans find work? They just laid off over 1000 people! I said it before and I'll say it again, EA is an evil corporation! How can they just kick people out the door and set up a foundation to help other jobless people? Hypocrites!
@ 2.1
I see what you're saying, but not every veteran has mental health issues and they shouldn't be prejudiced against.
I'm excited for this game!
LOL I almost spit out my beer. That's funny as hell
Then you should be able to read comments from legitimate purchasers, not people who have never played the game. Maybe someone who's new to PC gaming doesn't really need to know about mods or dedicated servers? They might want to buy the game and they might enjoy it. Just forget it, everyone is just disagreeing with my thoughts so it's pointless to continue this conversation. I wish people would give reasons instead of just clicking the stupid disagree button. Quit hiding behind your moni...
